Mit Seye Ogunlewe begrüßen wir beim 1. Internationalen Leichtathletik-Meeting des VfB Stuttgart einen hoch dekorierten Sprinter aus Nigeria. Der 31-Jährige gewann 2014 mit der nigerianischen 4 x 100 Meter-Staffel die Goldmedaille bei den Afrikameisterschaften. Auch 2018 stand er mit dem Team dort auf dem Podest und gewann Silber – ebenso, wie bei den Afrikaspielen 2019. 2016 nahm der mehrfache nigerianische Meister an den Olympischen Spielen in Rio teil. Im Juni 2023 steigerte er in Graz nun seine aus dem Jahr 2019 stammende persönliche Bestzeit über 100m auf 10.04 Sekunden und wir freuen uns auf einen Seye Ogunlewe in Bestform!

 With Seye Ogunlewe, we welcome a highly decorated sprinter from Nigeria to the 1st International Athletics Meeting of VfB Stuttgart. The 31-year-old won the gold medal with the Nigerian 4 x 100 metre relay team at the African Championships in 2014. He also stood on the podium there with the team in 2018, winning silver – as well as at the 2019 African Games. In 2016, the multiple Nigerian champion competed at the Rio Olympics. Now in Graz in June 2023, he improved his personal 100m best time, which dated back to 2019, to 10.04 seconds and we are looking forward to seeing a Seye Ogunlewe in top form!
